The first marriage candidate DLC for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is just around the corner, and familiar faces from Harvest Moon: A New Beginning will move in just down the road from your farm, ready to be wooed.
The “Windswept Falls” expansion pack adds a new area to the map, where four new/old characters dwell: Neil, Felicity, Dunhill, and Hina. The first two are new marriage candidates, and the latter two are an old man and a child, respectively.
Windswept Falls is a tiny village of traditional Japanese cottages, with a small farming area and a waterfall. Presumably, this also means a new area to fish — although whether or not that means new fish has not been mentioned.
Two more DLC packs will bring new marriage candidates from previous games to Olive Town: “Terracotta Oasis”, which will add Iris and Raeger from the first Story of Seasons game on 3DS, comes out some time in June, and the “Twilight Isle” pack, which will add Ludus and Lisette from Trio of Towns, comes out in August.
The Japanese Story of Seasons Twitter account lists April 28th as the date for the Windswept Falls expansion pack’s launch, but as the Japanese version of the game came out a month before the North American launch — and websites still list May 2021 as the DLC release in English — it’s unclear if that will also be the release date in the West.
